[좋은아침] 상파울로주 정부에서는 오는 26일(월)부터 사회적 거리두기 방역 수위를 2단계(주황색) 완화할 계획 중이라고 1일(목) 브라질뉴스포털 UOL에서 보도를 하였다.
보도된 내용에 따르면 상파울로주 정부에서 최근 감염 상황 브리핑을 통해 신규 사망자 수가 며칠간 1일 1천 명 이상을 유지하고 있으나 중환자실 신규 입원자 수는 줄어들고 있으며, 4월6일(화)부터 주 보건체계 병상 점유율이 감소추세로 돌아설 것으로 전망하였다고 발표를 하였다.
이로써 주 정부는 오는 11일까지 상파울로주 전역에서 시행되고 있는 ‘긴급단계’는 더 연장하지 않을 예정이며, 이후 2주간 1단계(적색)로 되돌아가며, 주 정부에서는 26일(월)부터 사회적 거리두기 방역 수위를 2단계(주황색)로 완화할 계획으로 영업 활동의 길이 열리게 되었다.
한편, 상파울로는 코로나19 팬데믹이 선언된 지난해 3월 이후 현재 최악의 상황을 겪고 있다.
경제활동이 멈추면서 한인사회와 브라질 서민층의 어려움은 가중되고 있으며, 생계마저 걱정해야 하는 상황으로 몰리고 있다.
또한, 신규 사망자 수는 역대 최고치를 기록하고 있어 확산세가 좀처럼 꺾이지 않아 불안감은 더욱 커지고 있는 상황이며, 코로나19 대유행으로 경제가 얼어붙으면서 브라질의 실업률은 지난해 말 10년만에 가장 높은 수치인 13.5%를 기록한데다 물가도 꾸준히 상승하면서 서민층에 가해지는 타격은 더욱 커졌다.
